Transfer Commode

Transfer commodes are mainly used for going to your toilet, so then you can be easily transferred from your chair to the toilet without too many difficulties. A transfer commode has a seat section, but it also has a sliding area to scoot or slide across. This is pretty secure as a transfer commode isn’t usually moved around once it’s put in place.
These commodes are helpful if a person is weak or unsteady. If someone is at risk of falling, a commode may be safer than walking to the bathroom.
